Morgan Lyle
Founder & President/CEO
Strategic Innovations, Inc., Developer of iVidCast™
Morgan Lyle is founder, president and CEO of Strategic Innovations, Inc., based in the Silicon Valley near San Francisco. Under Ms. Lyle's direction, Strategic Innovations offers training and consulting services predominately to the senior housing and healthcare industry. In early 2007 the company will launch iVidCast™, a training system for direct care providers using iPods for viewing short-segment training videos at the point of service.
Ms. Lyle has extensive experience training both management and direct care staff, which has given her insight into different learning styles - what motivates workers and what falls short. Her observations led her to develop iVidCast, a form of training that she believes will be the catalyst for positive change in how direct care is delivered to seniors. Her company is collaborating with Senior Marketing Solutions, LLC, to develop and market the eLearning components for iVidCast, which include training for customer service, dementia care, marketing and resident care services.
Ms. Lyle's career in healthcare began in 1972 and includes experience in marketing, sales and customer service training, operations, quality assurance, frontline management, and regulatory compliance for senior housing communities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home health agencies. A healthcare consultant since 1985, she has conducted market and consumer research in more than 100 markets for both nonprofit and for-profit clients. Her parallel career in marketing and operations provides a depth of understanding that she views as a tremendous asset in the development of training for the senior housing and healthcare industry.
Ms. Lyle has extensive experience in developing programs and services for persons with memory loss. She has personally opened more than 25 memory care units throughout the United States and has developed turnkey memory care programs for several national companies, including Chicago-based Covenant Retirement Communities, with 14 locations across the country. At Covenant she also developed training programs for nursing home admissions and networking/community outreach.
Among other clients has been the nation's largest not-for-profit long term care organization, Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, with 21,000 employees in 25 states, where Ms. Lyle co-developed a sales training program specifically tailored to align with the organization's core values, missions and culture change initiative.
Ms. Lyle has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and attended Disney Institute's course on "Managing Creativity and Innovation." She also completed a five-day "How to Train the Trainer" program at Belmont University's Frist Center in Nashville, Tenn., a premier learning center devoted to providing professional development and tailored learning opportunities to those working with senior adults, ultimately enhancing quality of life for elders.
